Membership Terms

The SWANK membership program "membership" is offered by SWANK BLOW DRY BAR, Inc. "SWANK BLOW DRY BAR" to our valued customers. The membership terms form the agreement between each customer that participates in our membership program known as a "Member" and SWANK BLOW DRY BAR. SWANK BLOW DRY BAR reserves the right to change these terms or to adopt, additional rules, regulations, policies, or procedures ("Terms & Conditions") affecting our Membership and to terminate a Member's Membership at any time for any reason without prior written notice. By participating in our Membership, the Member agrees to these Terms & Conditions. Each Member is responsible for remaining knowledgeable about our Membership Terms contained here. The membership entitles each Member to the following benefits:

Two (2) blowouts each month; 10% off all retail products (in-salon only), and a discounted member price per classic blowout for all additional blowouts. Unused blowouts "roll over" month-to-month and never expire while the membership is active. Active Members may request to freeze their automatic monthly billing for up to six (6) months per calendar year. Members may not use any accrued blowouts or additional membership benefits during the time the membership billing is on freeze. If a salon location is temporarily closed, Members can book an appointment to redeem accrued blowouts at any salon affiliated with the membership. If there is no salon located within ten (10) miles of the salon closure; automatic membership charges will be suspended as of the first day of the month in which appointment bookings are postponed. All membership charges will be deferred and accrued membership blowouts will remain on hold until the salon resumes operations.

SWANK BLOW DRY BAR may increase our membership pricing from time-to-time. Active Members are not be subject to price increases unless; (a) the Member cancels their current membership and decides to join again at a later date, (b) the membership is suspended due to a declined payment and the Member fails to update their billing information and/or authorize SWANK to charge the missing payment within fourteen (14) days of the scheduled payment date. (c) the Member does not have a signed Membership Agreement on file.

​SWANK membership payment authorization terms of use:

Members authorize SWANK BLOW DRY BAR to automatically charge a designated credit or debit card each month. It is the Member's responsibility to keep SWANK BLOW DRY BAR informed of accurate billing information. The Member agrees to have the membership fee recur monthly for an initial term of six (6) months. The membership will thereafter automatically renew and continue on a month-to-month basis until cancelled by the Member or terminated by SWANK BLOW DRY BAR in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the Membership Agreement. SWANK BLOW DRY BAR must be contacted by phone for any changes to the Member's billing information or the Member can update their credit card information online. The monthly fee is automatically charged on approximately the same day each month as the original sign-up date. Membership blowouts are non-transferrable and may be used by the Member only. SWANK BLOW DRY BAR will attempt to notify a Member when a membership payment is declined. Member's must contact SWANK BLOW DRY BAR within fourteen (14) days of a declined membership payment to update credit or debit card information and/or authorize SWANK to charge the missing payment. Members that fail to pay the membership payment within fourteen (14) days of their scheduled payment date may be required to pay a $25 reactivation fee to return the membership to active status.

In the event that SWANK BLOW DRY BAR is unable to take appointments due to temporary salon closure(s), automatic monthly membership payments will cease for the all Members in the month of the salon closure and will not resume until fourteen (14) days following the re-opening of one (1) or more salon locations. Member's accrued blowouts remain on hold during this time. Membership cancellations requested during a temporary salon closure will be processed, but are not eligible for refund of accrued blowout credits that are greater than thrirty (30) days.

SWANK membership freeze terms (Blowout Memberships Only):

Freezing a membership stops the payment from automatically billing for a limited period of time.  Membership payments can be frozen for up to six (6) months per calendar year.  Requests to freeze a membership must be completed through our online form. To avoid future billing, the online freeze form must be submitted at least three (3) days prior to the next membership payment date.

Accrued membership blowouts remain on hold while on freeze and cannot be used until the membership returns to active status.  The Member may reactivate a frozen membership before the scheduled freeze period ends by notifying SWANK BLOW DRY BAR by telephone, email or in person.  Frozen memberships are not subject to membership price increases that occur while the membership is frozen.  Frozen memberships that are cancelled prior to the first payment date set to resume automatic billing have thirty (30) days from the effective cancellation date to use accrued blowouts before they expire.

​SWANK membership cancellation terms:

New memberships are eligible for cancellation after six (6) payments of the monthly membership fee. Memberships with more than six (6) payments are on a month-to-month basis and can cancel anytime. Membership cancellation requests must be completed through our online form available on our website at: https://swankblowdrybar.com/cancel-membership
Due to the significant price discount offered with our membership, early cancellation requested prior to six (6) membership payments received are subject to an early cancellation fee. The early cancellation fee is based on [the number of blowouts used at the discounted membership rate times the regular price per blowout] subtracted from the membership dues paid. Any accrued blowouts remaining expire as of the effective cancellation date.

To cancel a membership, the online form must be completed at least ten (10) days prior to the Member's payment date to avoid future billing. Cancellation forms received less than ten (10) days prior to the membership's next payment date are not eligible for a refund. When a membership is cancelled after the six (6) month contract term, accrued blowouts remaining at the time of cancellation expire thirty (30) days from the effective cancellation date. The Member is not entitled to redeem accrued blowouts for discounts, cash or store credit and the Member is not entitled to a refund for any membership payments, accrued blowouts, or additional benefits/discounts at any time during the active membership or upon cancellation.

​Additional Membership Terms & Conditions:

Gratuities on membership services are not included. Discounts on products apply to in-salon purchases only. Discounts and membership blowouts are non-transferrable and can be used by the Member only. To redeem membership blowouts and/or benefits/discounts, Members must provide their name and identify themselves as a Member. Any attempt to transfer membership benefits to a non-member may result in automatic cancellation of the membership. SWANK BLOW DRY BAR reserves the right to request proper identification from a Member before providing discounts or blowouts under the membership. Members also agree to allow SWANK BLOW DRY BAR to communicate via mail, email, phone (including SMS messages), external websites and various other channels. SWANK BLOW DRY BAR may use these channels to communicate with Members about account status, program changes, Terms & Conditions, special offers or promotions, or other matters SWANK BLOW DRY BAR believes may be of interest to the Member. Accrued blowouts, benefits and discounts have no cash value. Accrued blowout credits are non-refundable thirty (30) days after payment.  

Each Member agrees and understands that the Member's credit card will automatically be charged the applicable monthly payment each month. The monthly payment will be charged automatically and approximately on the same day of the month that the original purchase was made. SWANK BLOW DRY BAR reserves the right to terminate a Member at any time. If a Member attempts to chargeback a membership payment(s), the membership is terminated effective immediately and the customer may be permanently disqualified from using SWANK BLOW DRY BAR's membership services in the future. If SWANK BLOW DRY BAR terminates a Member based on chargeback of membership payment(s), any accrued blowouts and/or benefits remaining are expired immediately.
